Ryanair vs Jet2
I like to fly from my local airport wherever possible.Mainly due to the convenience of not having to take the train or drive over to Manchester.
I have flown Jet2 several times and think they are one of the better loco airlines around.
However I think their flights are not as cheap as they used to be,and their choice of destinations is mainly the traditional bucket and spade places.
I just hope that if Ryanair do increase their presence at LBA,they don't tread on Jet2's toes,and commence a bloodbath!.
There are plenty of places Ryanair could start flights to without overlapping with places Jet2 already fly to.
I know that the airport is trying to attract new airlines/routes to boost passenger figures.Would they be able to dictate to Ryanair which routes they fly,or is it purely the airlines choice?.
