New Managing Director at Bournemouth Airport
Rob who has 19 years experience of working within the aviation industry has held various senior positions within the Manchester Airport Group (owners of Bournemouth Airport). This included a two year secondment to Australia as General Manager Business Development for Adelaide and Gold Coast Airports.
For the past six years Rob has been Managing Director of Humberside Airport and has also been responsible for aviation development at Humberside, Bournemouth and East Midlands Airports.
Commenting on this new appointment, Rob commented: “I am delighted to be joining Bournemouth Airport at such an exciting time. The Manchester Airport Group have shown their commitment by agreeing to invest £45 million in our redevelopment programme. I’m now looking forward to seeing the project through and to helping develop Bournemouth Airport’s huge potential.”
Rob, who has a postgraduate diploma in marketing and a master of science degree in transport management, is married with four children.
