Thrust Vectoring
I seem to remember that there are at least a couple of TV EJ200's floating around the test empire somewhere.
Stealth - adds a huge amount of complexity. Now both the Raptor and the Typhoon are first look, first shoot, first kill aircraft which means they need to have some degree of stealthy ability but generally only in the head-on aspect. Once you're into the knife fight in a phonebox, stealth doesn't offer any advantage.
