If you mean you have a PPL and want to work as an instructor in Oz/NZ, then no potential at all. You need a CPL to be an instructor in both countries.
If you mean that you only want to teach PPLs then it doesn't make any difference, because an instructor rating in Oz includes the authority to teach up to and including the CPL syllabus.
AFAIK it's the same in NZ.
