It goes for everybody converting to an oz license. You have to do the IREX exam, ATPL airlaw and an Instrument flight test. I don't think it has to be on an A320 unless the rules have changed. Usually any twin will do.
If you think CASA is bad try converting to JAR and see how much of a pain is the A$$ that is. And those dollar signs arn't there by mistake.
