Perhaps the reason the crews are not back on the 767 is that something else is in the wind. The cynic in me thinks that returning crews to the 767 would confirm that the 777 is not coming. This being the case, training bonds would have to be cancelled and others, further up the food chain, having to explain the large sums of money spent on a type still not on the property. For an aeroplane that was supposed to show up during late 2006, it has all turned into a bit of a mess.
