Quick survey among you all sort of following from the how much do you take home thread.
What's the deal with staff travel entitlements regarding upgrade to first/biz class. Unlimited on space avail basis/certain no. per year/ pay extra for ticket? Self/ spouse /kids /buddy.
Am particularly interested in VS BA BMI.

Depends on length of service but generally 5-10 years you would get
unlimited standby
5 Free
2 positive
Wife and kids get same
4 buddy passes per year
Historically you would be upgraded to biz class on board on an informal basis (not with kids tho). Company (EI) have now banned this practice and threatened dismissal for breach of new diktat!!!.
Would be interested to know what's the deal in other companies
