Last time XL operated SSH was when they were based with the C-Reg a/c. The aircraft didn't have the capabilities of XL's own a/c (Think the MTOW was effected because of smaller tanks, or possibly to do with the C-Reg a/c carrying some mechanical equipment)
XL wont be coming back anytime soon. They had their sweet deal from CWL and are scaling back ops, as are more airlines at the moment.
The only possible thing we may see is more SFB flights from them.
SFB is still not available to book on the TCX website.
TOM dont seem to know what to do at CWL. I'm sure given the right deal from the airport they would like to expand, but as stated below, looks like ops are being scaled back. I'm sure the high landing fee's aren't exactly a sweetener for TOM. Thankfully the number of destinations TOM are serving are remaining pretty much the same, however its the frequencies that are being massively scaled back to fit on just 2 aircraft.
