When the then QR Head of Cargo resigned five or six years ago he was refused an exit permit for a week because Al Baker suspected he was going to join a rival airline.
The guy was only permitted to leave the country after persistent phone calls to Al Baker.
It's outrageous that a company can prevent an employee from leaving the country.
This whole thing should serve as a big warning to anyone thinking of joining QR. Just ask yourself, "Is it worth the risk"?
