Curious 2.

I'm not quite sure I understand your question. Do you mean:
A. Do you get paid more if you're working in the offshore industry as opposed to flying, say, a UN contract? That was what "Choppers Rule" answered above. He was in a peculiar position where he was made Captain during a UN contract and did earn less for a few months before moving to a offshore job. But that would be an oddity, especially as we have few, if any, non O & G contracts left in CHC Global, so it's a bit of an academic question.

B. Do you get paid more if you remain offshore at night? Most companies do. Again that's a bit academic as CHC Global operates a medium/heavy fleet and doesn't really get involved in production run type work.

I'd be interested in your SE Asia rumor though, as I work there at present
