WORD from the World Youth Day capital, Sydney, is that some of our pilgrims either couldn’t stand the cold weather or were not able to get a shower. A wantok passing by one group at the Sydney airport on Monday reckoned there was a musty whiff to the crowd. Maybe having got to close quarters with the Pope, they wanted to keep a lasting impression and not “wash it off’’!
You would have thought they would have mentioned something about the delays?
