To be sure, the so called run at the pensions was way before the ACPA/ALPA issue, the info I have came from a good source, the full amount was not protected. That was the serious cause for concern for many. I admit I am not a pension actuary so I might not be privy to all the details. The worry was, at the time, just how much could be lost.
