Has anyone else noticed the risible claim in the latest edition of Ryanair's in-flight magazine, only recently released, that the new IT system speeds up bookings and (get this) makes it easier to find low fares? Who else misses that wonderful low fare search facility? The 6/7 day view, which itself has disappeared entirely, was nothing like as good and struck me immediately as an attempt to improve yields. In this respect, easyJet's "low fare by month" list is (a little) better. Right now, trying to find a low fare on Ryanair involves a day by day search with some agonisingly slow waits for pages to load. Guaranteed to put off all but the most determined or impecunious, I'd say.
