Parking at Cork
BBJ a Gulfstreams 5 and Citation Excel were banished to Shannon for the weekend. In fairness they did allow 3 other Executive Jets park in Cork. The problem is that even if a small biz jet parks in a stand designed for a 757 the gurus won't allow a 2nd one park anywhere near it. Cork doesn't have purpose built General Aviation stands. Surely Common sense should prevail.
In any event now that TNT and DHL have ditched Cork there will be extra stands available. The latter are going at the end of August. One way to free up extra stands is to keep losing customers e.g Easyjet , CSA, Malev,
Central Wings, BMI Regional, Loganiair, TNT, DHL. Skyeurope next?
