The instructor in question is by far above average, an extremely proffesional aviator and a bonus to anyone who is taught by him. If it can happen to him it could happen to anyone. Unfortunately at QR the trainers are pushing the envelope as there are not many if any places that put the new guys straight onto the 330. I was checker at another airline down the road from QR and almost had a similar result in the same airfield.
