cpdlcuser, if you had read my previous posts, you'd know the answer to all that.
- As I have already said: No chance for an upgrading, unless you're an Indian citizen. No way whatsoever.
- JetAirways only offers a short-term contract to expats, so obviously they will not type-rate you. There are enough local 777-wannabes in India. In fact, you will only get a validation for your ATPL, not even an Indian licence, therefore it is entirely up to you to get your rating. And since JetAirways doesn't have any 747s, that's that.
- LHR-base: I also already aswered that. Yes, you may live in London if you fly for them. You may live anywhere in Europe you like; they'll commute you to London or Bruxelles from your nearest home airport.
Your rotations would then be around eight or nine days at a time, twice per month.
