Redhill. Two Planning Applications (Update as at 31/10)

Redhill airfield straddles two councils (see below) and the following two applications are now 'in play'. For those that feel able, especially lcoal residents, can you please assist GA in Surrey by supporting (1) and opposing (2). Thanks for your help in advance.

1) The hard runway (Tandridge council):

Use link: http://e-access.tandridge.gov.uk/pla...ion-Search.asp and then search for application 2008/779. Once you've got there you can submit comments to applications online. Comments have to be submitted by 25th July.

2) Change of use to an equestrian centre (Reigate and Banstead)

Redhill Aerodrome Venture Limited (RAVL) say that they have submitted this application as a 'toe in the water' just in case the hard runway application gets turned down. However, it is my understanding that if this is approved then the change of use take effect immediately.

There are two ways to comment on this application:

A) Email comments to: [email protected] and in your email include the application number (P/08/01011/F), and your name and address.

B) Online - Go to Planning Application Search - Reigate and Banstead Borough Council and accept their Terms and Conditions (bottom of screen). Then enter the application details when prompted, then click on the 'comment on this application' tab.

Comments on the equestrian centre have to be with the council by 17th July.
