The Kingair is an E90, less than 12,500 lbs.
POH figures are available for engine out performance in the piston twins, but traditionally I see no-one using them. There is more of a push to use them for the Kingair, even though it has better single engine performance and if a class was to be allowed unrestricted operations this would be the one, but generally most pilots accept that the turbo prop airplanes should be operated more like an airliner, with allowance made for an engine failure.
We operate under Part 91.
Does anyone out there calculate single engine performance as a requirement for normal operations when flying a light piston twin?
