Just heard on BBC N Ireland, that the airport will be closed next Wednesday and Thursday due to council staff being involved in a UNITE strike. Bad enough, but the the best bit of the piece was the Airport Users' Group Chairman (didn't catch his name) telling Mark Carruthers that about 9 flights will be affected!! Hahahaha!! Good to see he knows ANYTHING about the airport he involves himself with. Off the top of my head I can think of 8xSTN and 8xDUB (4 in/4 out) alone. Then there's PIK, GLA, BRS, LPL and EMA.
