Mind you 0523 cov man has pointed us to an interesting article in the Telegraph (cheers covman).
In it Chris Orphanou the airport CEO says how the planning saga has cost the Airport £6.0 million up to now.
A Mr McGuigan, the Coventry Council acting joint chief executive and city development director, claims that the failure to secure the planning application for a new terminal has resulted in "Tui taking business away from the airport and two other (unidentified) airlines not coming to Coventry." Hmm.
Mr Orphanou says he doesn't expect any decision until early 2009!
