Interviewees do take note...
Hi everyone,
I dropped by the interview room in STC recently and noticed a number of interesting things:
1. Polo T-shirts.
2. No neck ties.
3. 77th Street/Far East/Emo Punk accessories.
4. MS Flight Simulator aircraft ratings and hours.
I'm not kidding about the last one! Haha!
The point I'm trying to make is that this job means a lot to many of us. Just getting called up for the interview is worth celebrating, I feel. So guys and gals, if you treasure this once-a-lifetime shot at a job you think is the bees-knees, please put your best foot forward and impress upon the Captains that you're capable of living up to their expectations.
Some of the cadets processing the application forms were nice enough to suggest to those inappropriately dressed to return with proper attires, some were nice enough to run up to the office to photocopy certificates for the interviewees. If you're reading this and you do get the 2nd interview, you guys know who to thank! Basically, we know what you're going through sitting there waiting for the room number to buzz and we would like you to have the best chance possible.
However, what you do after the interview is entirely up to you! Haha!
