What about training?
There was mention of 737NG training, carried out in the Phillipines to cover Garuda, also a avionic friend was offered a A330 Radio course for QF Rockwell.

Due to the lack of work, I'm not really sure if there would be much else on offer, unless some new contracts were landed.
Most of the Tiger and Garuda work/transits are carried out late at night and in the small hours if I remember correctly.
