Extraordinary that an An124 has to come in to bring in a model ! Was it not designed to be broken down into sections ?
I am reminded of the Saudi Arabian government exhibition at Earls Court in about 1983. A huge
PR effort, it was all free, and wasn't really worth going to but there was a large tableau of the Saudi desert built. Apparently multiple Saudia B747 freighter special flights brought in the several hundred tons of sand required into to Heathrow .... from Saudi !
