All interesting pictures/stories. I am not exactly well travelled, so i can only speak for my local and the interesting approaches there. Which are non.

Well, on a heavy headwind day, i remember a Dash 8 doing a 10 - 12 degree glideslope, it looked like he was simply nose diving at the runway, also what i didn't realize was that when he touched down he was at least 40degrees off straight (eg, strong head/crosswind .
