I wonder if the effect we see after using a protein supplement for a while is down to the placebo effect?
The placebo effect gets in the way of proper scientific evaluation of almost ANYTHING in humans ! If one believes strongly enough that something ( anything ! ) will do you good, then you will feel and believe that it does so.
