That's not quite accurate about the DLR. The route from LCY to Bank is now carrying on. It's the Beckton line which has been cut back to a shuttle, and Tower Gateway station has been closed for the next year.
This really hacks off the Beckton residents (eg the WHBM family) that they have been dumped in favour of the lesser number who go down the LCY route. Seems you can't do any works on the railway nowadays without closing the whole thing down for ages. As if the new gates at LCY meant the airport had to be closed for 9 months.
But I digress. Back to important questions. Now when is that DC6 coming in ?
