It's basically a load of small stalls with the flying clubs trying to flog you their courses, and a couple of other compaines trying to flog you stuff to help with your flying training.
The only aptitude testing is normally at the GAPAN stand, but never tried it myself and not sure how close to the real thing they sell, it is.
It is handy to be able to collect all the glossy brochures and speak to all the FTO's in one place, and the seminars can be useful too, but take what you hear with a pinch of salt as I got the impression that some of the speakers have ulterior motives.
Oh and don't bother wearing a suit as some attendees do - they want YOUR business, not the other way round.
