Unhappy Airline Depression !!!!!
The US economy is in a recession, but the airline industry seems to be headed into a depression. The worst part of this down cycle are the contributing factors. OIL will probably stabilize at $200. The Supplyemand equation is irreversible. The trickle down effect of the deficit will stunt tourism and business travel. The reduction of essential service air travel will further squeeze economic travel growth for the airline industry.
