GF will always have my support. They have served me well for yrs. With their F class prices being superb value for money I have also saved many thousands of $$. I would never want to be caught up in the frenzy of EK or EY. The sanity of BAH is also a boon compared to DXB etc.
GF's schedule intra Gulf and general ME is far superior, as is the option of continuing onto EU bread and butter destinatons if need be. Just a little dissapointed they pulled out of Sydney but connections via Asia have been no real prob. Now only I wish they would continue onto US from BAH too!
Attacks are manifestations of other peoples probelms with GF..personally I have had no more issues with GF than with my local home country carrier QF(which i use domestically only 99% of the time). When I have had issues with GF they were always taken care of to my satisfaction.
I stick with one airline and one hotel chain only. Loyalty benefits are priceless esp when things go wrong-also with added benefit of GF being small enough to remember me by name in lounges, by cabin crew etc.....that's always been my business travel philosophy
Of course I will be accused of working for GF after writing this entry or being from
PR my only 'crime' here is being business savvy and loyal.
Perhaps GF shoudl offer me a
PR job
