The gossip I heard was that her brother in law was an Indonesian national and whether wittingly, or unwittingly her family was smuggling.
I don't think she was little miss innocent. She will wake up some day after a few years in jail to find she has been pardoned. That's the way it works over there.
If she is guilty, then the best way to get a pardon is simply to make an apology and admission from the heart.
