I saw this Airbus brief on smartcockpit.com regarding use of brakes and let me quote:
Select brake fans
1. Atleast 5 min after the temp check to
Allow thermal equalization and stabilization
Avoid oxidation of brake surface hot spots
2. Just before stopping at the gate, to:
Prevent carbon dust from being blown over ground personnel
Can someone now explain this??????
