I must say I was the MD of LBA I would feel extremely embarrased for allowing the drop off and collection area of the the car park to be in the state that it is.I know there are long drawn out plans afoot but quick makover would have helped a long time ago.
A few days work to remove the pavement obsticle course and set out some parking lanes would have worked wonders and cost peanuts.
You struggle from the aircraft on the shoppers style bus.Old people,women trying to carry bags and babies.Probably in my last 100 arrivals, the escalator in the main building was coming down only and people have to struggle up the steps.
On thursday the terminal was like hell on earth.
To make things worse,now when you exit airrivals, half of the available space has barriers to herd possible Arrow pax to go to the kiosk on the left.
I would like to know with all this emphasis on taxis,just how many pax use the taxis. It also seems foreign visitors must be able to read English.
And, they must pay for the taxis in Sterling only,not even Euros.
The time for excuses has long expired.
