I also stayed in that building but never saw or felt a ghost. Used to have a really cool green tree frog door stop onto the veranda........up to the point I saw the door stop climb the wall to catch an insect.
The old airstrip, as stated still has the old terminal building and stil is a museum, if you are passing through Katherine it is well worth a look.
