Could it be that on det there enough blue suit groundcrew dedicated to a single aircraft whereas at mainbase the fleet are subject to a civilian company "Whole Life Support" contract?
Down to luck as much as anything, as many dets only carry the bare minimum of spares and manpower, enough to turn the aircraft for the next sortie and not much more.
Good work from the guys last week though, 3 out of 3 and the transits.
