A bit harsh!
For an airport the size of LBA,I think a twice weekly widebody long haul service is a bit of a coup!.Who knows if this Islamabad route proves popular,it may lead to increase in frequency or other destinations in Pakistan.
I think the choice of destinations from LBA has dramatically improved over the last few years.
I live in Leeds and like to support my local airport,am flying to Dusseldorf next month and Ibiza in Sept from LBA.However I have flown from Liverpool,Ryanair to Riga,Easyjet to Madrid and Palma,Doncaster to Gdansk because these options weren't available from LBA,I'm sure many other Yorkshire folk do the same.
Lets wait and see what the new ownership of LBA brings in terms of new airlines and destinations.
