Not a serious airport
LBA has come a long way since dodgy Dennison but, unless you or your family are Pakistani or Kashmiri, the apparent excitement about 2 rotations a week to Islamabrad is sad or, in airport terms, rather insignificant.
Regional services are still 'patchy' i.e. often not daily or impossible to day-trip and, apart from JET2 to some common holiday destinations, the international services are pathetic. I cannot see any prospect of improvement with Man & Robin Hood stealing a major part of the traffic from the populous parts of Yorkshire. Unsurprising, when LBA services and transport links are a joke.
