The bomb is actually nearer Bromley by Bow and is massive, 2000 lbs of explosive. Being defused tonight, they are closing some tube lines near it. As read in my free Evening Standard collected at the airport!
It also occurred to me that they could have altered their flight paths to avoid the exclusion zone.
LCY need to sort out their bus drivers as well! Have just arrived from Dublin and we were bussed to domestic arrivals and free to walk in without passports.. unfortunately the luggage went to the European arrivals bit.. because 'ze buss driver he make a mistake'.
But CityJet seem to be getting their act together, with more staff around (and the biscuits have improved as well).
