I don't know about that Yonly. Yes QANTAS are established longer but their fuel hedging won't protect them so much in a few months and it's really going to bite. They have a lot of big, heavy, fuel guzzling infrastructure in the skies. It's expensive to fly half-empty planes around the place.

I'm not pretending that VB won't be affected, it will. But I'm confident that both airlines have business plans in place to accomodate a rise in fuel prices. Anyone with eyeballs could see that the price of oil was always going to increase.

And don't believe everything in the news. It's exaggerated with the worst possible spin on it. That's how they sell newspapers and get ratings, you know.

Times are changing and thriving comes down to flexibility and adaptability. I think we'll see some big changes in aviation in general in the next year or two. The fuel crisis will only bring that change forward.
