My uncle flies for Etihad since 2005 and he said that only recently (as in the last week or so), the Etihad HR department has started to go through applications and rejecting those who do not meet the minimum requirements or are overqualified. They will send an email to notify you that you are shortlisted
ONLY WHEN the dates for interviews and such are confirmed, which they aren't.
If you think about it, logically, why would they send you 2 emails? If you have been shortlisted you will recieve ONE email with dates.
I do not mean to come off hard on you mate, but there have been many claims here which are false! You claim to have recieved this email that you have been shortlisted a month ago? Can you paste the email here? Or PM it to me as I'm very interested to see this! You can just leave all the personal information blank so you don't give up your identity.
