It would be wise to think very carefully at which path you want to go down either integrated or modular

. I personally went the modular route (no interview, just sign up and learn!), and found it more cost effective and I could study at my own pace instead of somebody else's.
Of course you will still spend the money but not as much, also you can choose where
you do the various parts of the flight training although I would highly recommend you doing the IR in the UK.
If you have not been in the learning environment for sometime, you will find the volume of subjects quite daunting

.......well I did, as I left school at 17 and didn't study again until I was 33
This is not another modular / integrated argument it is just MY opinion and the route I took.
