Overtaking on the ground
Remember which country you are in!! In the UK a taxying aircraft should overtake another on the left. In South Africa on the right. In New Zealand,on the ground, "when overtaking another aircraft, give way and keep well clear of the aircraft being overtaken" - so left, or right, is OK.
I would be interested in know what rule applies in 'your' country. Neither the UK or SA AIPs appear to note the difference above in their national deviations from ICAO standards. But maybe taxy rules are not part of these standards.
Can anyone throw any light on this? Thanks.
