Been "off air" for a bit due to home office reorganisation - but had great flight dec 22nd in an archer out of Barton up to Windermere (against a strong headwind) and then back at 160 kts groundspeed (with my US mate who brought my new GPS over). Dec 31st had a freezing but fun trip in the Luton local from Barton. 3rd took my son up in the archer attempting crosland moor but hit SSD's aforesaid low cloud over the hills. We were able to fly over it (whilst remiaing in sight of ground to the west) but had to return back to barton without landing. But at last, i've been able to get out of sight of barton for bit. 2002 has to be more x-countries for me, i'm so fed up of locals all the time! Happy everythings to all aviators out there.
