That one of the accidental gear up in the C182 is a classic reason for sterile cockpit below whatever altitude is deemed appropriate. 10k in jets...perhaps within the traffic pattern in pistons would be good.
The two dills in the front seat never shut up chatting about inane !!!! until the belly started scraping.
The individuals in the Piper, Let 410 etc were merely passengers sat at the controls...not pilots.
