I don't see how V Australia would take on this type of project if they were not closely and maturely watching the cost of fuel. They may be offering low pay, but surely they aren't stupid. Surely a B777 will be far more efficient (cost per seat) across the pacific than a B744. In terms of competing, surely they'll win hands down, particularly with a three class product. Fuel costs are hurting everyone.....
Any word on other routes?
By the way, any idea if they'll be wearing the brown trousers......and no tie!!
