I'm in the difficult position of being the nominated 'friend' for a mate of mine who's had an allegation of gross misconduct levied against him by the FTO he works as an FI for.
Already had one meeting where allegations were refuted.
Mate received a letter this morning saying NATS were providing the FTO with RT transcripts and radar tracks for a disputed flight.
Hence my query.
So can an FTO get this stuff, or would it have to come via SRG/CAA.
I hasten to add mate says he's done nothing wrong and the info collected isn't a concern, simply asking as initial letter from FTO was bluff and bluster and wondering if this is a similar tactic
