Could you tell me whether Netjets use the low-cost carriers such as Easyjet etc etc to position crews from their Gateway airport ?
Yes - no reason why not to use them.
Also .... off topic ... but would NetJets take some punk with 1450 TT rather than the 1500 ??

faint possibility IF you can guarantee that you will be meeting the 1500 TT requirement in a comparatively short timescale. Otherwise, probably no.
