The airshow rumour has been around for a while now, the story behind it is that managment don't think it projects the right image for the airport.
Soon though there will be no image to worry about as at this rate there will be no airport.
Questions should be asked what Peel are doing with the place at a higher level than pprune as I think we are heading for a Sheffield situation. Slowly run the place down and then close it, stating that it is no longer viable.
What I want to see is Kerry come out and deny that the place is going to close and actually give some evidence that Hugh, herself and the marketing department are actually earning their money. I'm not saying that they should reveal their negotiations with operator, but just some reasurances that people in the industry can comfirm as being true, rather than the lies and spin that we normally get from the higher managment at MME.
