I would expect most City travellers to fly from the Island to Luton rather than Gatwick. The trains from Luton Airport Parkway station go straight in to the City in about 30 minutes, it's smaller and less congested than Gatwick, and the flight is shorter. Having said that, FlyBe's timings could be more business-friendly if their morning service was earlier.
