So just to confirm that to fly commercially you must comply with everything listed under CAO 82.1?
CAO 82 stipulates the requirements the
operator has to comply with in order to be issued with (and keep) an AOC. As a commercial pilot, you should at least be aware of the things your employer should be doing in order to comply, but it is not specificaly your responsibility.
Otherwise, as previous posters have noted, you need to know two things:
1) As a CPL holder, you can't just go and start commercial operations. You must hold an AOC (or be employed to operate under someone else's)
2) Understand what your specific AOC authorises in terms of type of operation, aircraft etc. You
are responsible for operating within the specific authority of the AOC.
