I'm currently on a contract in the North sea working as an abseilor. I work 147 nights a year and take home approx £3000 a month, with a 2 weeks on 3 weeks of Rota. I'm doing this to fund my flying training, It's going to be a bit of a hit when and if I ever get a job flying commercially, but money doesn't buy happiness, flying will make me happy.
